Quality Policy
UTP is striving to fulfill customer expectation through continuous process and business improvement. Almost all manufacturing units and organizations relates ‘quality’ concept only for products, however UTP empassing ‘Quality’ as concept in every activity related to business, whether it is strategic planning, process, production, human resource etc.
At UTP ‘Quality’ is the way of doing business.

- Implementation and application of rigorous quality control practices together with SPC tools ensures low and minimum PPM near to zero PPM.
To ensure quality, Unitech has outlined quality control activities as below.

Incoming Inspection:
- 100% incoming inspection of raw materials, specifications, conformation of its properties by NABL, accredited LAB.
- Store it as per system; document its heat number, which is useful for material flow till dispatch.
- Color coding system for material grade differentiation.

In Process Inspection:
- Online manager, operator shift supervisor and quality control personal, do check and inspect components which are in process, a regular and pre determined intervals and frequency.
- Production and quality department has recognized critical dimensions and parameters of each and every part as per process flow chart, to control precise quality for these parameters, Quality personal draws, SPC/SQC charts and Run charts.
- Pre Dispatch Inspection: Parts are inspected before dispatch and final inspection.
Quality Circle:
To improve Quality awareness, company has started Quality-Circle activities to reduce defects and improve quality.
